Mary Ruberry
Senior Vice President - Human Resources
Mary Ruberry is responsible for human resources and administration of the corporate headquarters at The Parking Spot in Chicago. Her responsibilities include providing overall strategic HR leadership to the company and she is responsible for the development and implementation of human resources policies, programs and services including recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employment practices and procedures, employee communications and employee events. She also has responsibility for the corporate headquarters operations budget.

Ms. Ruberry brings over 15 years of human resources and administration experience to The Parking Spot. Prior to joining The Parking Spot she was Director, Human Resources & Operations at Williams Labadie a full-service advertising agency owned by Leo Burnett. She was responsible for developing the Agency’s human resources function and transitioned the agency from an outsourced IT function.

Prior to her tenure at Williams Lababide she spent 3 years with, an online e-tailer partnered with Ace Hardware, as Head of Administration. She was a key member of the initial start-up team that grew the company from 4 founding partners to 180 employees in 18 months. She was responsible for Human Resources, Operations and Employee Communications.

Before joining the team Ms. Ruberry spent 7 years at General Instrument Corporation. She held various positions in the human resources and legal departments. She was responsible for consolidating and relocating the company headquarters from New York to Chicago, managed the Board of Directors activities and managed and executed the human resources function.

Ms. Ruberry started her professional career with Beatrice Company working in their legal department for 5 years. After Beatrice Company was divested she joined General Instrument Corporation.

Ms. Ruberry earned an Associate Degree in Legal Assistant Studies from South Suburban College and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from DePaul University, Chicago, IL.
